2. Service Description
LockFil is a decentralized file-sharing service that allows users to transfer large files securely and privately using end-to-end encryption and decentralized storage. We do not require users to create accounts or provide personal information to use the service.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use LockFil. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3.2 File Sharing Limits
While LockFil allows you to send large files, the current maximum file size limit is 5GB per transfer. This limit may change, and we are working to remove file size restrictions.
3.3 Prohibited Content
You agree not to use LockFil to upload, share, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Violates any local, state, national, or international laws.
- Contains malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
3.4 Expiration of Links
File-sharing links generated through LockFil are valid for 15 days, after which they expire, and the files are no longer accessible. The files are not recoverable after the link expires.

6.3 Decentralized Storage
LockFil uses decentralized file storage (IPFS) for storing files. We are not responsible for any issues, losses, or security breaches that occur within the decentralized network. Once files are uploaded, we have no control over or access to them.
7. Termination
7.1 Termination by LockFil
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to LockFil at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that a user has violated these Terms or if their actions pose a threat to the security or integrity of the Service.
7.2 Termination by User
You may stop using LockFil at any time. No formal action is required to terminate your use of the Service.
8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue LockFil at any time, with or without notice.
